It’s important to note that the effectiveness of fake tan can vary from person to person due to differences in skin types. The only risk of an unnatural appearance arises when using a product with too much DHA for your specific skin type. However, the products we offer have been carefully formulated to suit all skin tones.

To begin, I apply Sienna X barrier cream to dry areas to dilute the tan and prevent excessive darkening. Next, you step into the tent for a quick 5-10 minute Sienna X Spray Tan application.

The spray initially appears as a pale brown color, serving as a guide for even coverage.

After 8 hours, you can shower off the tan, revealing a beautiful, natural-looking tan.

My Sienna X tanning options include strengths of 8%, 10%, and 12%, available in light, medium, or dark shades.

NIGHT BEFORE TAN:

• Exfoliate and moisturise, avoiding oil-based products, with extra attention to elbows, knees, ankles, and dry areas.
• Paint nails and toenails, especially if they’re acrylics or gels.
  
  

WAXING/SHAVING:

• Wax or shave at least 24-48 hours before your tanning session to allow pores to close, preventing the appearance of dotting.
  
  

ON TAN DAY:

• Avoid moisturising your body or using skin lotions.
• It’s okay to use face moisturizer.
• On the day of your tan, rinse off any products, oils, moisturisers, and makeup.
• Skip deodorant, fragrances, and lotions for optimal tanning results.
  
  

CLOTHING:

• Opt for dark, loose-fitting attire after your treatment to prevent marks. Consider going bra-less if possible.
• Wear flip-flops or loose shoes.
  
  

SHOWERING/BATHING:

• Wait at least 8 hours after the tan (development time) before showering or bathing.
  
  

ACTIVITIES:

• Avoid exercising or swimming during the development period.
  
  

SKIN CONTACT:

• Try not to touch your skin during the development time for best results.
